  • Terri Carter

    Terri Carter

Mrs. Terri Carter, the counselor at Ivory Primary School, is very dedicated to Ivory's students and staff. She shows concern and help to students who need academic help, personal assistance or just need encouragement. She is also available to the adults at Ivory with a listening ear and encouraging words. Her door is always open to everyone. We know we all have a friend in Mrs. Carter. She is very dedicated to the Weekend Backpack Program for kids at our school and works tirelessly to help the students receive Christmas donations during the Holiday Season. If there are activities going on at Ivory, she is busy taking pictures, helping in anyway she can or just offering encouragement. She is very caring, compassionate, and understanding. It is obvious that she loves her job and everyone at Ivory Primary School.

  • Damon Donnell

    Damon Donnell

Mr. Donnell (Springdale School District) supports the whole-child approach to education by addressing the needs of students, families, schools, and communities in a systematic approach. He equips educators across Springdale with sound protocols in dyslexia, 504, safety, FIT, the arts, etc. By creating these systems, the needs of students and families are addressed at high levels. Mr. Donnell works individually with students and families to identify specific needs and does not hesitate to call on local businesses to support these needs. He follows up by thanking the businesses on social media. These supports allow students the opportunity to thrive emotionally and academically.

  • Jenny Broniste

    Jenny Broniste

Jenny Broniste is a phenomenal special education teacher in the Van Buren School District, where she goes above and beyond each day to meet the needs of the Whole Child. In her Resource and Inclusion Language Arts classes, students engage with reading, writing, and learning in new and exciting ways, but more than that, she goes beyond the content to make sure that students in her class are valued, appreciated, and celebrated for their strengths, talents, and unique interests. Her students never doubt that they have a caring advocate in Mrs. Broniste who will do whatever it takes to help them be successful.
