Dear Vendor:
The 30th annual Assessment and Instruction Conference jointly sponsored by the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) and the Arkansas Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development (AASCD) will be held at the Hot Springs Convention Center in Hot Springs, Arkansas, on June 21-23, 2010. Expected attendance for the conference is between 600 and 700 participants including superintendents, assistant superintendents, curriculum coordinators, principals, counselors, department chairs, and teachers, along with personnel from the Arkansas Department of Education and the Arkansas Department of Higher Education.
In this our 79th year, we have invited publishers, distributors, and other vendors to exhibit at the conference. Please accept this as your invitation to present a display booth at the conference. Your participation assists us in defraying incidental conference expenses and allows you the opportunity to display your products and services to education professionals who will be making critical curriculum, instruction, and supervision decisions in Arkansas public schools. Your display will be housed in the convention center at a fee of $300 per space. Included in this price is an 8’ high back drape, 3’ high side drape, one 6’ skirted table, 2 chairs, and an exhibitor ID sign. Exhibitors requiring electrical outlets and/or internet service will need to fill out a form and send to Hot Springs Convention Center. Viki Martin will email these forms to you once your registration is received. The cost of the electrical hookup and/or internet service is the responsibility of the exhibitor.
Exhibitors may begin setting up their displays on Sunday, June 20, 2010. Specific times will be set aside in the conference agenda for participants to visit the exhibit area. Conference participants will walk directly by the booth locations to attend sessions, which will result in more foot traffic for vendors. You may also wish to sponsor meals and/or receptions. If you wish to sponsor such an event, your organization will be recognized in the program, have first choice on booth location in vendor area, and verbally recognized in the appropriate session with an opportunity to speak if you so desire. A vendor that chooses to sponsor in the amount of $1,500 or more will be provided an exhibit space free of charge. If you wish to sponsor an event or if you have any questions regarding this invitation to exhibit, please contact me as soon as possible at (870) 588-3338. You may also contact me via e-mail at
